The seminary, located in the heart of Bavaria, Germany, was established in 1998 to pro-vide a place for young seminarians from the international Church (Copts, Latin rite Catholics, Greek Catholics, Orthodox) not only a place to study, but moreover a place to meet and to discover the wealth and diversity within the Church and thereby further ecumenical dialogue and understanding. The role of the seminary has also grown in importance for the international Church, particularly for students coming from countries where the possibility to study is limited by either religious persecution or economic hardship. The documentary is highlighted by the testimony of exactly these students who, unable to study at home, have found a haven wherein to study abroad.
